At September 20, 2026, 12:00 We invite you to our club party Grand Départ Germany e.V. in the rock cellar in Leipzig. Our festival takes place as part of the Autumn Festival in the Rock Cellar Biergarten – right in the middle of Plagwitz.

For us, the day is primarily an opportunity to engage with you. We want to show you what we are currently working on, where our application for the Grand Départ of the Tour de France in Central Germany and Berlin stands, and why this project goes far beyond just cycling.

Program for small and big cycling fans

There is also plenty prepared for the youngest guests. At the children's make-up session, the little ones can have fun creatively. In addition, we are organizing a skill race for children aged 1 to 8 years old. Whether it's a balance bike or a bicycle: Both are welcome. Please bring your own bike or balance bike, of course.

Exchange on the application for the Grand Départ

The bid to host the Tour de France in Germany is not only driven by political decisions and grand plans; local support is also crucial – from clubs, volunteers, cycling fans, and everyone who is excited about an international sporting event in our region.

Therefore, at the club festival we want to listen first and foremost, answer questions, and talk with you about the opportunities a Grand Départ can offer for Leipzig, Central Germany, and Berlin.

Autumn festival in the rock cellar

Our club festival is part of the two-day autumn festival at the Felsenkeller Biergarten. Already on Saturday, September 19, the first Plagwitz Goulash Festival is on the program there.
