We spoke with her about the idea of bringing the Tour de France 2029 to Germany \u2013 and about the special story Berlin and Central Germany could tell as potential host regions.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"cype-module cype-module--text\">\n<div class=\"cype-text\">\n<p>The focus of the exchange was the vision of a possible Grand D\u00e9part of the Tour de France in Germany in 2029 and the opportunities such an event could present for Berlin and Central Germany.<\/p>\n<p>As a native of Gera, Elisabeth Kaiser emphasized the importance of the Tour de France as one of the world's biggest sporting events. At the same time, she highlighted how well a possible Tour start could be combined with the goal of making the development and progress of Eastern Germany visible internationally.<\/p>\n<p>The more we appreciate your support for our submitted application and the project.
